Lilly Pilly (Wilsonii, wilsonii subsp) belongs to the Botanical Dimensions Series I completed in 2011.It is a small tree which grows to 6m in height & grows in North Queensland lowland to upland rainforest. It produces large pom pom like red flowers & stunning red /pink new growth & 10-16mm edible clusters of white fruits. Interestingly it is the only Australian Lilly Pilly to produce red flowers. I love the colour of the new growth.
